Second United Presbyterian Church (East End Baptist Church; Union Project)

J. Lewis Beatty was responsible for a large number of Protestant churches in our area. He flourished for forty years, and in addition to churches, stores, apartments, and houses designed at least two large hospitals that still stand—West Penn, which is still a hospital, and Columbia, which is now a nursing home and other facilities.
